Kevin Withem
Senior Minister
Kevin Withem, the lead minister, preaches the weekly messages to help us apply God’s Word to our daily lives. He is a native of San Diego and has been married to Karen, a High School Counselor, for 39 years. They have raised three sons. Kevin has been in full-time preaching ministry for over 39 years, mainly in San Diego County, with an eight-year stint in Austin, Texas.
Luke & Emily Martin -
Youth & Family Ministers
Luke and Emily serve as our Youth and Family Ministers. They met at Cascade College in Portland, Oregon, where Emily got her degree in Education and Luke in Psychology and Bible. Luke earned his Master’s in Theological studies at Duke University and is currently completing his Ph.D. at the University of Dayton. They have three young boys who keep them busy.
Juli Garon
Children’s Ministry
Juli is a dedicated member of our Children’s Ministry Team. She plays a key role in coordinating our Sunday programs and collaborating with Yvonne to plan special activities like Vacation Bible School and more. A mother of three, Juli brings years of experience at North County to her work with children. In addition to her ministry role, she works as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Juli’s heart for children and her commitment to serving others make her an invaluable part of our church family.
Yvonne Fojtasek
Children’s Ministry
Yvonne brings a wealth of experience and passion for education to our church family. With an undergraduate degree in Secondary Education from Abilene Christian University, a Master of Arts in Education from Cal State San Marcos, and both an Administrative and Ryan Multiple Subject Credential for K-12, Yvonne has dedicated nearly 20 years to classroom teaching and has served as an instructional specialist, beginning teacher mentor, and assessment provider. She and her husband Neil made North County their church home in recent years, and Yvonne has been an active and valued part of our Children's Ministry as a teacher. We are thrilled to have her officially join our staff at the beginning of 2025 to continue serving and shaping the spiritual growth of our children.
